Abby Oliver-Martin - M.Ost, PG Cert

Abby earned her Master's in Osteopathy from the European School in 2015 and received a nomination for Associate of the Year in 2019. Her fascination the human body and health led her to pursue a career in osteopathy, where her specialised training has equipped her with in-depth knowledge of physiology and biomechanics, enabling her to assess and treat patients effectively.

She employs various techniques, articulation, soft tissue work, manipulations, and MET, and has experience with more subtle approaches like Cranial, Balanced Ligamentous Tension (BLT), and Fascial techniques suitable for patients of all ages. Abby is also certified in Medical Acupuncture/Dry need, Kinesiology Taping, and Myofascial cupping. She is dedicated to customising treatments to meet each patient's needs and incorporates beneficial exercises and lifestyle choices.

As an avid sportswoman involved in horse riding, netball, and skiing, Abby understands the physical demands of these activities. She works collaboratively with her patients to optimize their function and expedite recovery while preventing further injuries.

Additionally, Abby has trained with Stuart McGregor at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals to treat horses and has a particular interest in working with horse riders, leveraging her understanding of both equine and rider biomechanics. She was honored as the two-time winner Best Equine Osteopath of the Midlands by The Midland Enterprise Awards in 2018 and the LUX Life Pet Products and Services Awards in 2020.
