Simon Griffiths - Dip. ITEC, AOSM, APNT

I have been practicing massage for over 10 years now. Whilst travelling in South East Asia I embarked upon a Thai Massage course in 1999, and realized then that I wanted to make a lifelong career from bodywork. On my return to England I continued to study and practice massage. Initially studying for a diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and Body Massage in 2001. I have continued with ongoing courses, reading and hands on practice since then. Most notably qualifying in courses in sports massage, sports injuries and massage, deep tissue massage, and various other techniques such as muscle energy techniques, stretching, specific soft tissue mobilisations, myofascial release and neuromuscular techniques.

I have been working within professional sport as 1st Team Masseur for West Bromwich Albion FC for the past 10 years, and cover basis for the English Institute of Sport providing Sports Massage for a variety of athletes. Over the years I have gained substantial experience and developed excellent hands on palpation and knowledge skills. From this I aim to provide the best treatment for the client depending on their presenting symptoms, and so can add a variety of techniques into the massage treatment session as required. My treatments are suitable for all from elite athletes to the elderly, from construction to office workers.
